Member Nav :: CF Pro Tools Add-On Features For ClickFunnels




Description and Best Use Case For This Add-On:


Member Nav 2.0 allows you to have Next Lesson and Previous Lesson buttons in your CF 2.0 course.   


This allows your users to easily navigate forward and backwards through your lessons.



OVERVIEW (For Advanced Users)



For those of you ready to jump in and are familiar with CFProTools, you can use this checklist:


  • Whitelist Your Live Domain

  • Create a Members Area with Lesson Sections and Lessons

  • Add Buttons To Your Page for Next Lesson and Previous Lesson

  • Links buttons to #previous-lesson and #next-lesson 

  • Create Add-on Script

  • Install Script to Footer Tracking Code Settings (of your Members Area page)

  • No Known Conflicts


Step 1:   Whitelist Your Live Domain


Add your live page domain to the DOMAINS tab inside of CF Pro Tools. Disregarding this step will cause your add-on installation to not work.


Here's a guide on how to do that:

  •  Click on DOMAINS in the left hand column of your CF Pro Tools Dashboard. 


  • Then click ADD NEW DOMAIN button:

    • When prompted, enter the domain names you are using and click CREATE DOMAIN.

Step 2:  Create Your Members Area Page


This addon gives you the ability to easily navigate from lesson to lesson in ClickFunnels 2.0


Here are the step-by-step guide for creating your members area page in CF 2.0


1. Create a Members Area with Lesson Sections and Lessons

  • Navigate to your ClickFunnels 2.0 account.

  • Access the membership area where you want to implement MemberNav.

  • Set up lessons within your membership area. Each lesson will represent a segment of your content.





2. Add Buttons To Your Page for Back and Forward

  • Inside a lesson, add a two-column row.

  • Insert buttons for "Previous Lesson" and "Next Lesson" in the new column.

  • Adjust button styling as needed.



3.  Links buttons to #previous-lesson and #next-lesson

  • Configure button actions to link to custom action URLs



    • Previous Lesson:   #prev-lesson

    • Next Lesson:  #next-lesson

  • Clone the buttons for consistency. 


4. Create Add-on Script

  • In ClickFunnels dashboard, go to "Add-Ons."

  • Search for "MemberNav 2.0" and install it. 

  • In Add-Ons, locate MemberNav 2.0 and create a configuration.

  • Choose looping preferences (yes or no) based on your needs.

  • Click "Create Add-on"


5. Install Script to Footer Tracking Code Settings (of your Members Area page)

  • Copy the generated script for the MemberNav configuration.

  • Go to the lesson page's code section

  • Access footer code and paste the MemberNav script.

  • Save the page

  • Open your course in a new window.

  • Navigate to a lesson and use the "Previous Lesson" and "Next Lesson" buttons to ensure proper functionality.
