Pass Product  :: CF Pro Tools Add-On Features for ClickFunnels





Description and Best Use Case For This Add-On:


The best use for this add-on is to allow you to have a sales page with optional products.


When the product is clicked, the page moves to the order page and the appropriate product is pre-checked and ready to go!

   

Great option if your sales page and order page are separate from each other and you want a streamlined option for selecting products.



OVERVIEW (For Advanced Users)


For those of you ready to jump in and are familiar with CFProTools, you can use this checklist:


  • Add Your Domain To CF Pro Tools DOMAINS TAB

  • Create An Order Type Page (Install Code Here)

  • Create Your Products

  • Create Sales Page with Product Buttons

  • Links Product Buttons to Order Page URL + ?pid=PRODUCTID

  • Create and Install PASS PRODUCT add-on

  • Known Conflict:  Does Not Work With Product Accordion



Step 1:   Add Your Domain To CF Pro Tools DOMAINS TAB


Your first step will be to add your domain to the CFPT Domains Tab.

Step 2:  Create Your Order Type Page


You will need an ORDER type page in your funnel on ClickFunnels in order for this add-on to work.

Once your order page is setup, create your products snag grab your product ID's by right clicking on the EDIT button in the products tab and then clicking COPY LINK ADDRESS.


The product ID will be the numeric values directly following:  /products/xxxxxxxxx


The link might look like this:


https://yourcfaccount.clickfunnels.com/funnel_steps/49199654/products/2615327/billing/


In this case your product ID would be 2615327.


Collect the product ID's for all the products you will need to create links for on your sales page.



Step 3:  Create Your Sales Page


Create your sales page as you normally would.   Once you've created your buttons that will select the product the customer wants, you will give them a special link.


The button links will link to your order page directly.   Get your URL from here:



Please note the URL to your order page will be different from the one posted above as this is an example from my test account.


You will take your order page URL and append the following URL parameters:


?pid=PRODUCTID


So continuing on with the above example, the button link you use would be directly linked to:


https://funnel.works/bsh-cf-pro-tool-test?pid=2615327


Do this with each of the buttons you would like to pass the product on.




Step 4:  Create Your Add-on Script


For most add-on installations of the PASS PRODUCT script, you can simply click the CREATE NEW button:



Please note:  You CAN use this script over and over for other order pages without having to create a new and unique script.




... now do a keyword search for PASS PRODUCT




Once you have located the PASS PRODUCT script, click the thumbnail image and create the add-on per the installation instructions.



You will need to name your script.   We recommend a naming convention like this:

PASS PRODUCT (Test Funnel) or
PASS PRODUCT (Book Funnel)

It's best to name it with the name of the add-on and in parentheses make sure to name which funnel it belongs to so the script location can be identified later as needed.


Once you have completed this area, click the red button below to create your add-on script.




Step 5:  Install Your Add-on Script


You can now copy your newly generated script out by clicking the blue button where your script is located.

The button says, "COPY CODE", this will copy the script to your virtual clipboard.


Please Note:  This script will be copied to your ORDER PAGE, not the sales page.



You are now ready to paste the script into your FOOTER TRACKING CODE AREA.


This add-on script should specifically be installed on an ORDER type page.


Click SETTINGS --> TRACKING CODE




Now click the FOOTER CODE TAB, and paste your code in:



Now SAVE your page, you are ready to preview and test your new add-on!



Known Conflicts:


  • Does not work with Product Accordion
